Dedicated to the spirit and memory of Howard Hawks, the versatile director of Hollywood's golden age. He made more good films than any other American director, co-writing and producing many of his 46 films. He was also an accomplished engineer, outdoorsman, and pilot whose friends included Ernest Hemingway and Howard Hughes.
